I Don't Like Doctors

UPDATE: Dr. said he'll see me in three months for a follow-up. Surgery can wait for now. Yea!!!



I have to go see the dr tomorrow about The Cantaloupe. I dread it. I don't want to go. I don't like doctors. Unless they are taking care of my children or delivering my babies. I don't like the ones who think they need to remove cantaloupe-sized melons while the Melon Mama is symptom free, sorta.

So, I have determined that I will not lose heart because these light and momentary troubles are achieving for me an eternal glory that far outweighs all melons.

I am determined to fix my eyes NOT on what is seen on the ultrasound screen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen on that screen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Please clarify that you also like Dr's that are only a phone call away when you need them the most!!! You don't want to hurt Jeff's feelings!!!! So thankful that the appt. went well.

What You Missed....

Why is it that when there's tons of great stuff to blog about, I drop the ball and don't blog!!! Perhaps it's lack of time!!! Anyway, I'll catch you up on what you missed with a photo essay. Our Jelly Bean becomes St. JellyBean every Christmas. He grows out his beard and has his whole head dyed white. He has an awesome "suit." Not many folks get a private photo shoot with Santa in their living room! (This pic was only after phase one of beard-dying.) My nephew brought his fiance "home" to meet us all. She's a tiny little cute thing and we so enjoyed being with her! Fiance had never been to a Winn Dixie but loves the book "Because of Winn Dixie." So at 9:00 one night, guess where we took the poor little deprived child! Fiance is an avid basketball player.
