Girls Weekend!

We had a girls weekend and I only have one picture taken from C10's phone to show for it!

Ok. I guess techincally that's not all I have to "show" for it if you count the two cute tops I bought at Kohl's to wear to see Celtic Woman at the Fox. That's next week.

Yes, I bought two dressy tops to wear to one concert. I'm thinking I'll stuff one into my tiny clutch and halfway through the concert, dart to the restroom and change tops?? Ok. Maybe not.

We did have a fun weekend while the Daddy met his old friend at the Lake for a guy's weekend. I guess Hero deserves a guy weekend every once in awhile...I DID go on a girl's getaway cruise, for Pete's sake.

Anywho, C10 spend the night with us girls.....while the Butter was at the grands. We ate dinner at Mellow Mushroom, scoured clearance racks at Kohl's, and watched Jane Austen movies until the wee hours. Very nice weekend.

(Yes, Doodle is a pizza-eating machine.)

How wonderful for you girls! Glad you were able to enjoy the weekend. Have you seen this Blog Party thing going on? I joined (pretty easy) -info on my homeschooling on a wing and a prayer blog....I have met some nice ladies already and found some new blogs to follow as well. Fun. Thought I would spread the word. Oh, What a Feeling!!! That's the title of my first BFS Assignment. I'm to share a little about what led us to homeschool in the first place....and our ups and downs. Since I haven't blogged on American Idol in awhile, our Rayray is going to blog tonight in my place. So without further adieu, here's your American Idol recap, through the eyes of a 13 year old. What You Missed....

Why is it that when there's tons of great stuff to blog about, I drop the ball and don't blog!!! Perhaps it's lack of time!!! Anyway, I'll catch you up on what you missed with a photo essay. Our Jelly Bean becomes St. JellyBean every Christmas. He grows out his beard and has his whole head dyed white. He has an awesome "suit." Not many folks get a private photo shoot with Santa in their living room! (This pic was only after phase one of beard-dying.) My nephew brought his fiance "home" to meet us all. She's a tiny little cute thing and we so enjoyed being with her! Fiance had never been to a Winn Dixie but loves the book "Because of Winn Dixie." So at 9:00 one night, guess where we took the poor little deprived child! Fiance is an avid basketball player.
