Me, The Twins, and Sweet CousinMy precious Aunt Ro is in town this week....Sweet Cousin called today to see if I could slip away from our normal homeschooling routine and join them and Mama for lunch at a local bistro.
I guess so...if you insist.....just when I was looking forward to my noodles in a cup. heehee.
After a delicious salad, we walked around some of the downtown quaint shops...something I rarely actually get to do! I found Karen Kingsbury's last installment of the Baxter family at The Bookstore and reluctantly bought it.
(I say reluctantly because I don't want the Baxter series to end...but that's a whole-nother post for a whole-nother day. )
Anyway, my midday excursion was a nice diversion.
