As we were walking into the local Walmart last night, my sweet dd reached out and took my hand.No big deal, huh? Little girls like to hold their mommy's hands, right?
Well, this was not our 5 year old.
This was our 12 1/2 year old young lady, Rayray, who is within a few inches of being taller than me.
The one who has had a wild-weed growth spurt in the last few months.....
The one who has decided that if it has sparkles or glitter on it, it's not going to be worn by her......
The one who babysits her siblings while I run errands...
The one who likes to stay up late and watch tivo'd Next Food Network Star with me....
The one whose blossoming into a beautiful young lady.
But still little girl enough to hold her mama's hand every once in awhile.

So precious. I ache when I think about my boys being to "big" to show me love that way.
